Back in the end of 2011 i was having trouble to DL stuff from the site even with the direct links, even though i had downloaded everything fine in the past. Now, in June 17, 2012, when i try any link to the site all i get is a redirect to a weird russian site. Also i remember hearing the site had been struck by a virus, but that was in 2008.

Problem is, this has been happening for more than 2 months. Actually, i think since 2011 as i said earlier it was giving me the subscription error. Also i think the guy who owns it (forgot his name) doesn't renew it because it's paid...

They rarely renew the subscription before it's expired. Mostly they renew it in 5-7 days after the expiration. The site was alive 4-5 days ago.

The videos (.exe) are compiled bik videos. These are very common since they come from a CD. (I think it was the extra DVD/CD I had in my retail HL2 copy) They show pretty cool stuff they showed at E3 in 2003 plus some other. Most of the maps they show in the videos are working on the beta build aswell. I can upload these to a filehoster if you like since I dont know how to get access to FTP.
Now, i see you have 3 HL2 folders, Alpha, Alpha2 and Release. As far as i know, there was only one leak. Could you please explain more of your collection? It sounds very interesting.

There is no special story behind it - just me being lazy to rename the folders propely. In Half-life_2_Beta_Alpha and Half-life_2_Beta_Alpha2 there are maps for the beta, I currently have no idea if there are different versions or something. The third folder comes with a readme which says: "Bob00100 presents "Half-life 2 Beta Release Update 1""
If you meant the release folder, there is the anon source - the german guy who leaked the build first of course. The russian source if from hl-beta I believe but I'm currently not sure. It comes with a installer and a patch folder, which fixes some issues. The third folder - "Another Beta" was a project by me where I put in every patch I found + tested it a lot + all maps I found (+ tested of course) but never released it to the public. No fixes by me regards the sourcecode or maps of course, just what I found over the years.
