Anyone interested in a copy of the only "in the wild" beta for Postal?

It was distributed by Running With Scissors (the developer) via its website, for a very short period. It has a time limit of sorts, where, if you play it anytime past a certain date, all the characters on screen will catch on fire and die (including yourself) and, at least in my experience, the game will become more and more laggy and eventually crash.

Interestingly, changing the system date back doesn't seem to work. However, I haven't tried in quite some time - maybe changing the date before launching the game even once would work.

Anyway if anyone would like this I can toss a copy online. It may already be on FTP but I have no clue as I don't have access to that at this point.

I used to have it too back in those days, and I remember seeing a hack for it to remove the time-limit

Time limits are usually patchable.

Funny, for years the faq for postal one has included a question from the beta, even if wasn´t available for download.

You're probably playing the beta version.

Also there was a Mac beta version
