Now for some information, Metal gear solid has various Demos Ranging with different lengths, however the pilot disc (the one which HackOutGames explores - SLPM-86098 ) (came with Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu '98 Kaimakuban) is around 250-300mb a which is considerably different to the other demos which are around 50mb (the one I have ends when you enter the vents) however in the second pilot the demo ends after you encounter psycho mantis. considering the size difference it's obvious that the pilot disc contains more content which is hidden inside. Now I'm not saying HackOutGames has found out every bit of content in the disc. To basically get an idea Watch the videos. It'd be interesting to see if anyone else has a copy of the pilot disk and they mess around with it.
P.s There are other Metal gear solid demos as well, I have a trade demo which is practically the first part of the game. Anyone else know of any other demo discs or something they might own?

I have a whole bunch of those "Playstation JamPack" demo discs from way back, and I seeeeeeem to remember one of them having a Metal Gear Solid demo on it, but I'm not certain, I'll see if I can dig that up.

Hmm........
Cool videos though!
Although yes, there is a metal gear demo on the playstation jampack disks.
Yeah, I thought so. I seem to remember it well, I'll see, as I said, If I can dig that up...
Would be excellent if you could, I still have my game shark pro So I might be able to mess around and see what's possible, If I recall there was some new codes found out for normal MGS so I'm guessing there's still lots to be discovered

Awesomely enough, I still have MY GameShark Pro kicking around as well! Sadly though the CD Drive in my Playstation has finally kicked it, after years of having issues reading discs unless it was sideways, the ball-bearings finally flew out of it... shame...
But, yeah, I'll see what I can do. I know that disc is around here somewhere, so when I find that, I'll let you guys know!

Interesting that this was found, I have also found out a second version exists, Apparently its the same as another demo publically released but I still wonder if theres any beta items hidden in it. http://matt871.free.fr/pilotdisc2.html

Thanks for the info, I've searched a few stuff and found out that the file size for it is 316MB, much similar to the first pilot disc. Sadly not been able to find the disc although someone is selling it for around £80
