Just got in to the new APB closed beta, although its meant to be a re-launch (hence the reloaded part) I'm not seeing much difference from before. There's still ridiculous amounts of glitches such as bright glowing people running about and they've only just sorted out the constant random crashing. I also have a 5970 which can run it at 60fps easily but it seems many users are stuck at about 10fps with mid end machines. So just wondering if anyone else has got in to the closed beta and what they thing of the 'relaunched' version?. Happy to answer any questions anyone has about it as well.

Damn, I wish I also get into this beta! How did you got into it? I already signed the newsletter 3 times, but I never get it...

This game looks pretty cool, now that it's free, I also want to try it out!

Guess I just got lucky! I signed up for the new beta as soon as it was available on the site then I got an e-mail in February asking for my system details (dxdiag.txt etc...) then I got an e-mail on Saturday saying I had been accepted. To be honest though your not missing much, there is a lot of hackers at the moment and there are lag spikes about every hour or so, luckily I get about 40ms ping so its not normally that noticeable for me but its not so good for others.

Yes, I think you are truly right, but I am looking for a game, which is similar to GTA4, but including more Multiplayer features and APB is the only game I know so far, thats the reason, why I absolutely want to try this out.

But I think, they will fix the problems with the hacks and laggs, hopefully... (;

Yeh I saw an announcement post on the closed beta forums saying that they are working on hardware banning the cheaters which will be good as they'll have to buy a whole new machine to play again. I'm enjoying playing as a criminal at the moment as you can use vehicles to ram into shops/storage spaces then steal all the equipment to make money, you have to cart a lot of it back to your contact using a vehicle though (different vehicles have different amounts of storage for stolen goods) which can take a while but is definitely one of the faster ways to make money.

Wow, that sounds really great! Do you know something about creating an own avatar (model) or something like this? Is there a feature about making a gang/group?

Are you allowed to post screenshots? I don't think so...?!

Yeh you create a character at the start where you can customise their shape, hair, face... the usual. Then as you level up you unlock items of clothing and loads of other stuff to put on your character so there is a LOT of customisation if that's what you in to. I haven't joined a clan or anything yet but I believe you can have a customised look for a clan and you can customise your vehicles with mods (eg: nitros) along with logos on the outside.
Don't think I'm allowed to post pictures at the moment as its a closed beta but I'll check on the official forum and get back to you.

Aww, that sounds great. Yes, that's exactly what I want to! I hope I'll get access soon.

Thanks for your help btw, and if it is possible, please tell me as soon as you have some screens!

One final question: Do you know any date/month, when the game get open/final?

Thanks a lot once again, I really look foward to playing this game with my friends!

I too am in this ever since the first one months ago. A couple things:
1) No final date has been anounced but I say about 3 months.
2) You need an extremely good wireless internet connection
3) It looks amazing. I will upload some pictures in the thread I made later today.

I hope the Reloaded part keeps it's name, I tried this when it was in the original APB version's betas and it was straight up awful. The bugs it had, and how terrible the gameplay was in general just doomed it from the start. I really hope this version makes it and improves upon their previous mistakes.

The game has a lot of potential but if I'm honest a lot hasn't changed from those versions, I believe the new developers are working hard to fix the problems from feedback but the changes are happening very slowly. One of the most annoying problems at the moment is the spawning system, I've had several occasions where the enemy has spawned behind me leaving me no chance.
The most noticeable improvement you'll see if you do start playing again is definitely the driving, its not perfect yet but its a of hell lot better than it used to be.

Good to know they are working on it, and that driving is improved. That was definitely one of the worst points in the game previously I felt like I was rolling around a block on square wheels. I'm really hoping this game turns around, but quite honestly I'm really not sure. I need a replacement for gta iv's mulitplayer.

I can tell you you one thing. I have never played the original, only seen videos. From what I have seen, you will not be disappointed. This one has much less bugs then what I have heard the first one had and there are fixes daily.

I played APB: Reloaded a lot. At first it was cool, but after a few updates i noticed that Gamersfirst ruined the game. Now it's like a "Pay 2 Win" game. Not funny anymore.
