it truly is the patched CS port, i tried it. although i wouldnt put all the mac stuff in it, thats confusing...
windows user just need this folder from the archive: ..\Counter-Strike Source Alpha.app\Contents\SharedSupport\CrossOverGames\support\default\drive_c\CSS the rest is useless (and thats about 150MB)
btw: is there currently any group working on fixes/improvements/patches for this port? i would really like to play it with better model animations and muzzleflash (and you should be able to rescue hostages and place bombs lol)

This package was created by me and was actually intended as a standalone port for Mac users (hence all the Mac related files) - so no complaints please - I hadn't initially planned on sharing it here but if you guys find it useful nonetheless then that's cool.
And Hogsy/ScarT are right - it is a slimmed-down, standalone HL2 CSPort with custom patches that were taken from cs2world.com - I have fixed some texture bugs and some other minor stuff but this is about as good as it gets.
I don't think investing any more time into fixing this would be wise - it's overall full of bugs and broken features and was intended only as a showcase project - i put this together just for curiosity reasons that's all.
