Those frequently asked questions that always seem to get asked every other day in the Support forum.
Why can't I send private messages?
You have less than three posts. The reason for this is to cut down on PM spam.
Why are my posts not showing up?
They have to be approved by a moderator first for the first three posts. This is also in place to cut down on spam.
How do I access the FTP server?
Get Advanced Membership. Just make sure that your posts contribute to the site.
Why am I not an advanced member yet?
The staff actually have lives of their own, and cannot put every hour of every day into maintaining the site. They do their best, but sometimes the staff get caught up in more important real life things. You will be accepted into the Advanced Members group eventually, UNLESS your posts did not meet the contribution rules, in which case you should go read them again.
I'm now an Advanced Member. How do I access the FTP server?
Were you using the BetaArchive Image Uploader? If not, then that's why it was removed.
(virus checking/site reputation tool) says this site is bad because it has spam and viruses!
Those sites are wrong. We don't send spam and all files on the FTP server are checked for viruses before they are added. There are no viruses on this site.

Another FAQ:
How do I download from the FTP/Why won't it work? See here. It's another helpful post by linuxlove that shows how to configure Filezilla to work with the FTP.

If you can't figure out how to configure Filezilla to work with the FTP... you shouldn't be trying to install old pre-release builds of Windows, simple as that.

I don't see really any harm of making a BA FAQ. It will be helpful to new users (including ones who aren't kids), and there's nothing wrong with having helpful info!
