You're welcome to discuss them in this forum, but you would be better off going to a forum like InsanelyMac, where they're more geared to helping you out. A few topics in here of late have been related to hackintosh's and kext issues which would be better off elsewhere.

They don't bite (unless you're aggressive to them)

Just go to youtube and type iatkos s3 v2 installation guide. That will teach you everything. But the websites listed here are also good. However Iatkos s3 v2 is only for Intel so if you have an AMD processor, use Ideneb v1.3 for Snow Leopard.

No, it's a Mac OS system running on non-certified hardware. I.e if you install OS X on your Dell, HP or whatever.

Does anyone here have a hackintosh? I am running on one right now but was just wondering if anyone else here has found anything cool to do with it other then using it as a macintosh.

Well you have the bragging rights ;)

Also, you can tweak them more than the real macs, you can OC the cpu, change it when a new one comes out, mess in the bios etc.

Lol, yeah well I guess I do. That reminds me that I need to test some overclocking especially since I put a i7 3770k in it. I will try 4.2 to start out and I will see how well that works. Thanks for the reminder
