Downloaded stuffit 1.5.1 from macintosh garden. Don't have a lot of memory. 1mb stock for now. So system 6 is the max for me. Anyhow 1.5.1 is the max that will run on system6. Can't find any other other version to work. So I made a lot of archives before formatting the SE FDHD I have. Now after reinstalling 6.0.8 I want to unpack everything. But the macintosh garden file came with stuffit 1.5.1 and unstuff 1.5. Not 1. Just 5. So I need 1.5.1 to unpack everything. I tried 1.5 but it fails and says everything was packed in a newer version and cannot unstuff. But I can't find anywhere to download 1.5.1. I found 3 something for download but that is probably to new to work on system 6. Any ideas???

Most of those links are broken. But 4.0.2 worked. Except it said "Unable to decompress some items due to use of optimizers." All I got was folders with zero k. No files.

I just tried 1.6.1. Loads fine. But says "One or more items are encrypted. Stuffit Classic does not support NewDEtm or DES encryptiopn. Those items will be skipped." The refuses to unpack anything. I'll try 3.5.1 next.

No luck even 7 classic on sheepshaver not unpacking. But just had luck. Stuffit 3.6 Lite unpacked everything in sheepshaver. I just tried on my se and 3.6 Lite works great and is a life saver. So thanks problem solved now thanks.
