Well, not an invention. A codename for a current iOS version is written in the volume name of a RootFS. It is possible to get out them manually, if you have proper vfdecrypt keys.

Don't worry, an iPhone 5 will be left in the streets of Infinity Loop...

Well, I can find tons of info about iOS 6.0 being codenamed "Sundance" and not "Nemesis". So if you can't show some kind of proof that it indeed is named "Nemesis" we'll go with "Sundance" for now. A search on the net for "Nemesis" in relation to iOS shows nothing.

How to find codenames for iOS: 1. Take a beta iOS DMG for A4 processor devices. 2. Decrypt it using vfdecrypt. 3. Mount in Mac OS X. 4. The volume name will have the codename in it, have fun.

Well, then someone should do this and post a screenshot or the info being presented and I'll update the info. If it's this easy then I don't see why Smorgan's claims should be so secret to reveal if it's written in plain text by doing the above instructions. BA has all the officially released betas of iOS 6.

And nowhere on the site (as far as I can see) does it say that iOS6 had a codename of "Nemesis", only references are "Sundance" and "SundanceVail". So we will keep "Sundance" in the list until some proof of the existence of "Nemesis" is provided (evidence by either documents, binaries or some kind of tracable references).
