I got have a PPC Mac with 10.4.11 (also a PPC based settop box)
1. Do all the Leopard beta builds have the classic env cut?
2. Do I need a dual layer DVD writer for the install DVD?
3. Can I run 10.5 apps on 10.4.11?
4. Is it possible to replace the brushed metal style on 10.4?

To get rid of the brushed metal look, you might try the program UNO by Pedro Grilo on his interacto.net site. I use to use this when i was running 10.4

Why would you want to get rid of the brushed metal look? I think it is gorgeous. If I had the option of using it on Snow Leopard, I would absolutely do it.
