Honestly I Hope The YouTube App Is Much Better Than The One Designed By Apple, my iPod would always run out of battery when watching although the problem went away when I got my iPad 2.

Google is working on an app (3rd party)

I'm actually glad. I never used the native app, always the web app. I would hide the native app if my device was jailbroken. And if it wasn't jailbroken, I would turn restrictions on for YouTube so I didn't have the icon on my screen. The web app still worked.

Google maps is gone I thought they added 3D maps. It's gone?

Google Maps is gone, but Apple put their own maps app in iOS 6. Google Maps is available on the App Store however.

Funny thing about that on the release note :

As of iOS 6, embedded YouTube URLs in the form of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0 will no longer work. These URLs are for viewing the video on the YouTube site, not for embedding in web pages. Instead, the format that should be used is described here: https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters.

It's disappointing, but it's a good thing Google is working on a YouTube app.

I really don't mind since Google is working on a new app anyway. Besides, I never really liked Apple's YT app, so things can only get better IMO.

I think you can port YouTube.app from 5.1.1 if you're Jailbroken.

This is probably for the better. After noticing that Apple's stock YouTube app does not show all the popular videos (i.e., music videos) that a computer does, I found out that's because that app does not support video ads. While I absolutely hate those, I'd be willing to bet that any Youtube app Google develops would display them, so at least we'll get to watch the same videos in some form.
...That is, until it gets jailbroken and someone makes an adblocker.
