Hello all,
After a very lengthy discussion with mrpijey, it has been decided to relax the rule that you cannot post to a topic 30 days after the last reply to 90 days (3 months) instead. I hope this comes in huge favor of all members.
It might take some time to get used to this change so if you see warnings being given out and its still going by the 30 day rule not 90, then please remind the moderator/admin! Its been a custom of 30 days for so long that its easy to forget a rule change like this

rule change? Well thank you admins! any reason for this change? I didn't really think there were any topics that were relevant after 3 months... but I guess I am wrong.

The main reason is that this rule has always annoyed a lot of members, so it was decided we change it to 90 days which is a little more relaxed but still keeps the same effect. Some topics are still live even a month after the last post, so it shouldn't be made "impossible" as such to post to those topics without getting a warning. After 3 months a topic is definitely going to be dead, where as after 30 days it may just be dormant but read fairly often.
In short, we're trying not to be nazi about the posting in older topics, while still keeping things sensible and clean, and this was seen as the best way to do so.

The only thing i'm finding with that is now old topics which people have moved on from already even though it's been less than 90 days are being revived unneccessarily.
