I know that it doesn't affect us and our 7, but I still think it's a bit much just blatantly taking something and them trying to make out that it's there's. I guess there isn't much we can do about it though
have you turned back the clock inside the VM and disbaled the host time sync?

I just got an email from some forum i must of registered at in the past. At least they didn't say that they found it...

Hi Jeffro!,
Windows 7 M1 finally leaked after months of tantalising screenshots and tidbits of information, and over at TheTechArea we're ready - as ever - with a link or two to get you started, and the friendly, knowledgable support you've come to love to help you out when things go wrong.
The download itself is a torrent, and the ISO is around 2.9Gb in size. If you have been living under a rock recently, some of those new little features in build 6519 are...
* Slightly refined Aero theme * Sidebar and desktop more tightly integrated * 'Display' option on desktop right click menu * Search results in Start Menu fill the entire thing, as opposed to just the left hand pane * A bootscreen * Button to pin any of your frequently used programs to the Start Menu * New system tray design * New version of Windows Media Player (The precursor to WMP12)
..and many more!
No one should expect miracles - this build is still Vista underneath, but with a few tweaks. Worth a look for anyone with an interest in betas, for sure.
Come and read the topic at: 'Windows 7 M1' in the Announcements forum.
Thanks for reading, The Tech Area Staff

no I don't think this. I think the wewer Builds will still take a lot of time until they leak

And i have two more questions, did 6519 use MinWin (version number is only 6.1 for now, not 7.0)? Can be 6519 started without graphics subsystem (like in this video http://youtube.com/watch?v=NNsS_0wSfoU)?
Can you use a vista key? If so does it have to be a certain edition?
The problem is not that. You can probably use most Vista activation cracks to use it fine. The problem is that the build has already technically expired so you will get a nice BSOD exactly every 2 hours from boot.

Is it like the Vista install where you don't have to put in the key on installation?

Yes. I guess that's how MS is gonna do it from now til the change it (same feature is in the XP SP3 discs).
Nice one! I have to say there's very little chance of that NFO being legitimate. At this early a point the leaker is clearly MS internal staff 'dogfooding' it from work, and anyone clever enough (or stupid enough) to think about leaking it should at least have the sense to keep it 100% anonymous!
Shame to hear about the BSOD... that's a new low from MS
