Just because it's a beta or abandonware does not make it legal. It's still all "warez". It's just some moral distinction that the administrators have made.

I think he is here either to troll, or just pointing out the obvious. Since he just said that he doesn't like forums which allow illegal activities, on a thread that is specifically telling people to not do illegal things. Unless he was really referring to beta with "illicitley", then I don't know.

Maybe your Harvard degree will help us understand what is illegal. Maybe it will also help us understand the "proper" use of the English language, since you are speaking it.
