Hi all,

I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome The Distractor to the staff team. Please be nice to him, remember he holds the ban hammer!

Also, linuxlove has been removed from staff for misconduct.

Yeah, linuxlove seems to have made the decision to leave BA minutes after he found out the reason of his demotion.

And linuxlove, you sure overreacted. We didn't deny you access to BA, we just didn't thought you could be trusted with moderation after all the recent stuff. You're welcome to be on BA as a member any time you want. But it's your choice.

It's not an attack, it's an observation, and it happens to be right. Unfortunately he's the one who took it all the wrong way. We're not stopping him being a regular member, we just don't feel that his misconduct merits continuing as a moderator at this time.

No, let's keep it at "certain...things". What he did is not important. We're not going to make things worse here. Point is, if you're a moderator here you're expected to behave nicely and and act maturily. It's simple as that.

What exactly happened is between the staff team and him. As Andy has said (not in public forums as far as I am aware), if he wishes to tell you, that's okay, but otherwise it's private...

You know, that's really not helpful to his self-esteem...I can assume that he's upset at being demoted, but being harassed by other members (ON AN OPEN FORUM!!!) will definately not help him come back here...sigh... 8-)
