The Microsoft Operating Systems forum is not a catch-all for all your threads. It is a forum specifically for general Microsoft operating system discussion. If you want to ask what the differences are between Windows 2.x and Windows 3.x, ask there. If you want to discuss upcoming versions of Windows, talk there. If you want to know why your antivirus software isn't working properly, don't post in that forum - instead, post in the Software/Application Support forum.

The same applies for all the other forums. If your topic isn't suited for that forum, it will be either moved or locked.

Some people I guess have the thinking of "Since this virus (or any software) is on Windows, I'll post it in that forum"
