Yep, that's right! At the time of this post BetaArchive reports the archive to be 2002.77GB !
The latest release broke the 2TB (that's over 2000GB, 2 million MB people!) limit. BetaArchive is still going strong and there seem to be no end to the uploads .
A little bit of trivia:
When the redesign of the FTP started the total archive size was 45.5GB.
It takes on average about 15 minutes to prepare each file. Large files take longer (game betas etc), as well as batches of small files (Macintosh classic OS:es etc).
There's an average of 20 steps to prepare a release. Some takes a lot more depending on how hard it is to identify and clean up the release. See my general flowchart here.
At the time of writing, Abandonware uses: ~253GB, Betas uses: ~1460GB and remaining categories uses: ~311GB.
At the time of writing, Operating systems uses: ~1113GB, Games uses: ~356GB, Applications uses: ~159GB and remaining categories uses: ~394GB.
Smallest release: Boogie Demo (prototype) (2.3KB)
Largest release: Microsoft Windows Essential Business Server 2008 (''Centro'' 6.0.5496.11) (x64 rc0) [Chinese] (11.5GB)
Thanks goes out to all the members of this forum that has taken their time to find and release all the precious betas and abandonwares. This was all possible because of you .

I remember, was it 1.5 Tb we reached and were celebrating. Well, all I can say is I couldn't download the entire collection if I tried (no hard drive's that big and not enough bandwidth).

@linuxlove That would be funny if we resort to putting on Floppy Disks. Now try backing it up onto hard drives since the 1960s, how big would the room have to be for the amount of hard drives to hold all of this stuff..
Nice! 2 Tb of data is a lot if you think about it in terms of how much files is on the FTP. BA is the best!

That if you used 1.44MB. What about 180KB Floppy Discs lol
@Cats869: loooooool. You remind me when I have listened once to BASIC Program recorded on Casette. Imagine its sound The casette was from ZX+ Spectrum Personal Computer from 1990. I still have the casette, and will post picture of it soon.
