Favourite OS Windows 7 Build 7601 64Bit
Very glad to see this first leaked build. I've kept all of my leaked betas from the Windows 7 pre-release days, and I remember how exciting those first few builds were. Can't wait to begin testing!

Finally installed it on VMware.
I see some changes in Network and Sharing center. Menu at the icon in notification area with one wired network: Windows 7 (sorry, Windows 7 screens in Russian): Windows 8: But probably that just caused by VM usage.
Advanced sharing settings: Windows 7: Windows 8: New "All Networks" category. ----- New maintenance messages in Action Center:

Ok... well, once it RTMs I`ll see what I think of it, but I would prefer them to optimise the actual real boot time, not a half hibernation / shutdown time
I suspect they're going down this road because they're getting towards the limits of how much they can optimise the normal boot process.
Strange, even rebooting for me it does the same thing... I have to use iReboot to gain access to 7.

In taskbar properties window you can enable Deskband indicator: It changes instantly when I switch keyboard layout, while default language bar changes after some delay. ----- Now it's possible to change library icon: Also there's new "public save location". Not sure what is it.

Someone know if a dual-boot with Windows 7 SP1 made problems about the activation status of both OS?? (like Windows 7 & Windows Vista).
7 is ok, however 8 might be a pain in the ass...
UPDATE: Both are a paint in the ass. Having both side by side will [censored] your 7 activation so you'll have to activate again. 8 is basically impossible as you can't enter a serial or anything...

This is intriguing, it's a pity it's such an old build though. Will be trying this.
