In fact I lost my entire Internet connection for some reason and contacted my internet provider and they tested my connection and said nothing was wrong. Stupid Windows Vista cant even connect to the internet properly.

The forced reboot caused the corruption as database tables hadn't been fully written to disk. It's always a risk if you don't/can't cleanly shut down on any system.

Just pathetic to see people do things like this and the really sad part is half the time they dont even know what they are doing... The just hopped onto google and starting searching "how to DDoS"

No, because:
1. That would be illegal 2. They have far more resources than we do 3. The computers doing it are likely zombie machines so you're not attacking the attacker only some innocent person whose computer is being used as a part of the attack 4. We don't know who the attackers are to begin with nor can we find out when it's a DDoS
