Due to some intermittent connection errors (due to weather but also heavy construction work) the FTP may miss the abandonware and compilations sections, as well as a few betas from time to time. I am trying to sort out these problems as quickly as possible but since it's an ISP issue there's little I can do. At the moment of this writing parts of the FTP are completely offline.

Increase your timeout's, it takes about 5-10 seconds for the server to timeout the connection to the 2nd server so if your client won't wait that long it won't login. Failing that I will disable the link until mrpijey has the issue fixed.

OFFTOPIC:
Would be a nice feature for in the protocols. Someway to sync the timeouts so server and client always use the same timeout setting. This can of course be disabled on server and client side.

Well it's impossible to make the server control your client settings. And the client will always override the server.

Either way, the issue has been resolved (for now), FTP is fully back up.
